Terms & Conditions — Bid On A Project

1. Introduction

Effective date: 2025-09-26

This document sets out the Terms & Conditions under which Contractors may submit bids for Projects listed on Contractor (the "Platform"). By submitting a bid you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • Only individuals or entities legally capable of entering contracts may bid.
  • You must provide accurate identity and contact information.

3. Bidding Process

The Platform enables Clients to publish Projects and Contractors to submit proposals. Key points:

  1. Bid submission: Bids must include price, timeline and scope.
  2. Multiple bids: Contractors may submit multiple bids if allowed by the Project.
  3. Acceptance: A bid becomes a binding Agreement only when the Client accepts it and both parties sign the Project Agreement (digital signature is sufficient).
  4. False information: Submission of false or misleading information may lead to suspension or legal action.

4. Payment & Fees

Payments between Clients and Contractors are governed by the Project Agreement. Platform fees (if any) are described here:

  • The Platform may charge a service fee or commission on payments processed via the Platform.
  • Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and statutory deductions.

5. Deliverables & Acceptance

Contractor must deliver deliverables as per the accepted bid. Client will review within agreed acceptance period. If Client fails to respond within the acceptance period, deliverables are deemed accepted.

6. Liability & Warranties

Except where prohibited by law, neither party shall be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Contractor warrants that work will be performed with reasonable skill and care.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the Project Agreement in accordance with its terms. Termination does not affect accrued rights or liabilities.

8. Dispute Resolution

Parties should try to resolve disputes amicably. Unresolved disputes will be referred to arbitration under the laws of the Contractor's registered jurisdiction (or as agreed in Project Agreement).

9. Changes to Terms

The Platform may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitute acceptance.
